It’s hard to know when to take you current code base and more it forward, and when to start fresh. Solutions like .Net Standard, Xamarin, and Progressive Web Apps make it easier than ever to move your code forward but tools like Swift, UWP and React promise an easy path to a fresh start. The hard part is to not let the tools make the decision for us. Look at the technology, look at your customers and look at a plan, just don’t look forward, without remembering to first look back.
