Securing .NET applications in Azure

It is 2017 and we no longer have discussions whether we should use the cloud, but rather how to use it effectively. Microsoft has put a lot of effort to make Azure a great environment for enterprises. With such a diversity of services, it is important to know which one suits best our needs, and later, how to configure it securely. Additionally, sooner or later in the deployment process, questions about data confidentiality or distributed user management will raise. In my presentation, I am going to show you how Azure answers them. We will explore ways of protecting data at rest and in transit, securing application deployment, and authenticating users. In consequence, we will prepare our applications to run on Azure securely.
